With output bumped up to a whopping 301 HP, an awe-inspiring 331 lb/ft of torque, and the ability to reach 100 km/h in as little as 4.9 seconds, these peerless powerhouses have the extra oomph under the hood to see you through to every finish line.
Powerful performance requires dynamic control. Whether for the dry blacktop of the track, or the slick conditions of the road, MINI’s ALL4 All Wheel Drive system has been enhanced on these high-performance models to ensure every bit of added power brings extra driving fun.
The 4-piston, fixed caliper disc brakes at the front and rear ensure consistent braking power even under intense use. They give you all the stopping power you need to rule over tight turns and straightaways. Calipers finished in bold Chili Red accentuate the standard 18” and available 19” exclusive alloy wheels.
Breathing is key to performance. Which is why we’ve furnished the MINI John Cooper Works front bumper with a new front splitter, larger air intakes, and an additional cooler – all designed to keep the engine and brakes at an ideal temperature for high performance.
Amp up the adrenaline: The low-frequency growl emitted by the new 95 mm twin-pipe sports exhaust will be music to your ears. 10mm wider than before, they don’t just look the part – they sound it, too. Once you’ve dialled up the volume and experienced them for yourself, you’ll be rendered speechless.
Setting new standards in dynamics, our newest John Cooper Works models are fitted with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission that includes Launch Control functionality and shift paddles on the sport leather steering wheel.
